I refuse to buy a phone that can't properly support a tempered glass screen protector. When I had a s7 before going back to my 6s Plus I hated how tempered glass wouldn't work and my screen eventually got all scratched up but my screen underneath my tempered glass screen is perfect no deep scratches and anytime I crack my tempered glass I just replace it immediately for very cheap.

Do you think it will work fine with the iPhone 8 because of the flat screen? (hoping no 2.5D glass)

That's a difficult assessment to make without knowing the exact details of the iPhone 8 quite yet.

Atleast Based on rumors and mockups we can judge that iPhone 8 won't have curved display like galaxy note 8. it will be bezels less and hence flat like the current iPhones. So screen protectors won't be any issue for the new iPhone.

Here is a screen protector for iPhone 8

Why are you comparing the Note 8 display to the iPhone? Also, what you don't know, is how will this screen protector will be based on Touch ID integration. Furthermore, please explain how you know the bolded in your post, unless you're saying you have seen the new iPhone 8.

I doubt they'll work if TouchID is behind the screen, or if they do they will be ugly with weird cut outs in the middle for your finger.
