Do you think the early upgrade price of 3Gs is worth it?

I have a first gen. iPhone now, and I can get the early upgrade price of $399... However, I'm not sure if it's worth it. The features are a great upgrade from the 1st. gen, but do you think it's worth $399? I really want a 3Gs but I'm hesitant on the price...
