Impacted the design of the iPhone 4s this year? i.e. they kept it the same design, and didn't label on it "4s" so that if it were lost / stolen, people would just think that it's an iPhone 4 (as Apple would most definitely remotely lock it once reported lost/stolen).....

In saying that though, I have full confidence that the iPhone 5 will be a redesign, so go figure. Haha...

I know the 3G and 3Gs were the same design, it's just that they were labeled what one they were.

Just a thought.

You can also remotely lock an iPhone 4, it has to do with the new OS 5 software, it's not model-exclusive.

Also, what do you mean? The 3GS was never labeled with an "S" in the back. Only way to physically distinguish the two was the more prominent and darker printing.

LOL that's funny, for some reason I was convinced I saw several times '3Gs' on the back....
