This is it. There's been a lot of bickering and yelling about this topic, so this is for you guys. Do you think the next iPod will have WiFi or not?

Participation in this poll gives those who end up correct the right to gloat and bother those who are wrong.

Have at it.

I do think the next iPod will have wi-fi. But, the wi-fi features will be limited to a mini iTunes music store, no internet browsing. Also, Apple may only incorporate wi-fi into the high end model.

I think wi-fi is out of the question. There has to be distinction between ipod and iphone. Plus, having wi-fi only for itunes is trivial and unnecessary. Who buys itunes on the run. No thanks, I'll just buy from my desktop and dock to sync.

NO.

Mostly because many iPod users don't want to deal with configuring the player for Wi-Fi and also because of potential security issues where a hacker could damage the player through the Wi-Fi connection. And it would add some cost to the player, too.

I'm not sure but leaning towards no. Having it may encroach too much upon the iPhone... I'd rather it be just the iPod of the iPhone and be about the current pricing brackets than pay more for WiFi. It would be nice, but it is a luxury.

I would love to see it happen. But I just don't see it this year. If there was wi-fi on the new ipods, it would be great to get access to podcasts without having to be near my home computer. I would use that! Yeah Baby!

Bluetooth would be awesome!!

The only thing that I can assume is there will probabley be an industrial Metal looking IPod just like the new IMacs. Actually i have no idea, just twiddling thumbs until the 5th.
