Do you think the :apple: Watch Sport will work with the additional bands?

I Spoke to someone online and they said no!

it was someone on the apple online store, I'm almost certain she's incorrect.. but then someone else posted the same thing

Everything that I saw said that all 38mm bands will fit all 38 mm watches and all 42 mm bands will fit 42 mm watches. Whether they match properly is another question....

They're all the same exact form factor, just different metals for the case. Why in the world wouldn't they be interchangeable?

Whoever "someone" is was talking out their hind end.

I'm certain all bands will fit all cases physically. Visually, many combinations will be butt ugly. That is why Apple is using the term "curated" when referring to their collections.

In their opinion, these given combos are the ones that look good.

Everything prior to the arrival in buyers hands is sheer speculation, yet guessing seems to be very popular.

My take on Apple's use of the word curated is part of their ongoing efforts to build snob appeal into a watch that doesn't have a heritage. Or for that matter, any of the attributes buyers of luxury watches look for.

That's not a knock on Apple simply a fact of life.

I've spoken to apple press, and they said

Just got some information here, all of these straps are going to be compatible with all other Apple watches as long as they are the same size.

Can an Sport Watch be combined with the leather/milanese loop?

I was just wondering... The Sport Watch is the cheapest and the milanese loop is the nicest and so is the leather loop? Will this work?

The polished chrome hinge won't look good next to matte aluminum case and you might run into the risk of galvanic corrosion.

I was looking at pictures on apples site today - it looks like the leather loop doesn't have a chrome hinge, so that seems like a good choice for the sport.

Leather shouldn't be exposed to a sweat situation like at the gym.

Yes, that's true only for the Leather Loop; however, it's available only in 42mm.
