Hi! Just wondering what your thoughts might be. Do you think we're stuck with the bugs in 7.0.2 until Mav release?

Because some of the features (ie Keychain) won't be fully utilized until Mavericks release.....

I hope there is. Some bugs need fixed and performance improvements for older devices (especially with the keyboard).

The continued parallax stutter, compass/level values, occ. crashing, etc

I haven't had any parallax stutter, and compass/level values messing up and crashing aren't bugs but are something inevitable on any platform no matter the tweaking.

I believe we'll see Mavericks BEFORE any new important update to iOS 7. This is because Mavericks is set to be out in 30 days or less. Maybe Apple would release a hotfix for iOS should they encounter any critical bug.

All the best,

^MPY.

If that were the case, we would never see a "fix" for anything and the idea of beta testing would be null. The compass issue is not a major issue, but if you play games (ones without their own calibration), then it's a problem. The stuttering is also super common. I agree these issues are not exclusive to any one UI, but lots of people choose Apple because of its "smoothness" and how things are supposed to "just work..."

This isn't supposed to be a debate :). Bugs exist. Just curious if folks think we'll see little fixes before 7.1.

Haha. Thanks for clarifying.
Thats really the only real(is tic) answer that can exist at the moment.

I think there will be 7.0.x updates for bug fixes until Apple is ready for iOS in the Car, which, I'm thinking will be iOS 7.1, as that is not due out until next year, but, will be an iOS 7 feature (iOS in the Car says "Coming Soon" also). ...But, I just don't know about iOS correlating with OS X...I mean, not everyone will update to Mavericks right away anyway (I usually wait for OS X 10.x.3, so that bugs are fixed and apps are ready). So, I think iCloud Keychain, since it's delayed from 7.0 release, may come with iOS 7.1 next year.

Uh … so an unimplemented feature is a bug?

No, an unimplemented feature is not a bug. My comment was in regards to another user's post that inquired on how ios is tied to osx. Keychain was one example. I was simply curious on whether or not ppl think we would see another update with odds and ends ironed out and other "coming soon" features turned on. Not a big deal...

Well since there's ANOTHER pass code bug/vulnerability with 7.0.2 I see a 7.0.3 out soon to fix.

:). I'm waiting for 7.0.3.8.7. I think that version is supposed to make waffles, but will probably still have a passcode vulnerability.
