Do you think there will be new raptors soon?

I bought the 500gb with my mac pro, and partitioned it into 2 as the way i have setup my directories and folders, i need two drives.

I want to get a fast boot disk soon, and i'll clone my system/app partition onto that drive.

But i think the raptors 150gb are a little long in the tooth now... any rumours of a new drive coming out?

I don't really care about the capacity, 150gb is plenty, i'm more interested in speed.

The raptor seems to lose to the F1's and even other WD drives in some of the recent barefeats tests...

The Raptors are due for a refresh, just don't now when we will see one.

You could also grab a 15,000RPM SAS Drive if you've got the money to spare.

Heck grab an SSD if your dying for fast boot speed.
