I used to get Space Black watches, but got a natural titanium for the Series 6 and it was my favorite look by far.

Nearly every band goes with it, and you get the durability of the sapphire screen without the bling of the stainless steel.

With the introduction of the Ultra, I’m wondering if titanium will ever come back to the regular series.

I’m doubtful that it will, because it seems like they’re now selling titanium as a benefit of upgrading to the Ultra. I’m also not sure how they would price a regular titanium watch, since there’s really no room for it to exist between stainless steel models and the Ultra.

Obviously none of us know what will happen with the future lineup, just curious what your thoughts are.

I'd like to know this too. I've just returned my Ultra but really like the Titanium finish and wish they did it for the series 8. I'm wanting to upgrade my Space Grey Series 4 for the always on display and larger screen but don't like any of the Series 8 aluminium colours and prefer the satin/matt finish of the titanium over the shiny stainless steel.

I'd settle for Space Grey aluminium if they did it though 🙄

There is always a possibility they will reintroduce it in the regular Apple Watches. Apple tend to introduce, then discontinue and then reintroduce. As it happens I have Series 5 Titanium as well as the Ultra. I definitely prefer the Titanium over the shinier Stainless Steel or the less durable Aluminium. I’m going to keep my Series 5 as it doesn’t have much resale value.

Seems unlikely to me. Unless they raise the price of the ultra or switch the casing to another material, it doesn't seem like there's really a spot for it in the lineup. Like you mentioned, how would they price it? It has to be higher than the SS version, but less than the Ultra. With only $100 between those models now, It doesn't seem like there is room for a Ti regular watch.
