No, I think the shortest release will be at 18 months at least.

They might also update it with M3 for March 2024, when it will be available to the public in the US, but before 2026 we will hardly see in a non-Pro version or a second version.

I think you'll see a cheaper glasses version without Full Space/Environments support before the Vision Pro is updated.

2 years. Version 2 will be introduced and they will continue to sell version 1 at discount. The newest version will always be priced around 3500

Initial launch is USA only, so for those of us located outside of USA (I am in the UK), this question is particularly interesting & is something I have been thinking about.

I am typically an early adopter (owned the original iPad & Apple Watch on day of release). If Vision Pro was available to buy in the UK at the same time as the USA (early 2024?), I would be very tempted to part with the cash, but the combination of the high cost and the fact that the UK launch will likely be late 2024, makes it fairly unlikely that I will buy the initial version of Vision Pro, as come late 2024, launch of a 2nd generation of headset might not be that far off (assume that by the time a 2nd gen version is ready, the launch of 2nd gen would be global?)
