When you leave home, do you turn off the Wifi to make the battery last longer? Because if I don't, it's constantly searching for a signal, which probably drains the battery faster. Also, at home, it seems that running the cell and the WiFi radios would drain the battery faster VS. WiFi Calling only.

I get ridiculous screen time on my pro max. I don’t think I could drain it even if I really tried. I use 6 to 8 hours screen on time a day and I’ve never been below 50%battery.

I don’t feel the need to turn anything off.
Do you go by the 80/20 charge rule?

If I turned off the WIFI everytime I left the house, I would go crazy.

In the WIFI settings for the phone, I do turn off both ask to join networks and auto-join hotspot. Again, I don't like pop-up noise on my phone and I don't need the phone evaluating every WIFI network.

I think that the point can also be made that while it is not necessary to disable wi-fi when away from home, there is no harm in doing so. it also makes your phone less 'discoverable' if you have such concerns, beyond what may be a minor benefit to battery life.

I have a shortcut to set low power mode on my phone but have not used it for my new 13 Pro Max since the battery life is so good. I did use it for my XS Max.

Being aware of how your phone is set up and whether or not it is 'broadcasting' while you are out in the world is not such a bad thing, even though most of us don't worry about that.

Do you unplug when the charge reaches 80%? Do you wait until it gets down to around 20% to re-charge or do you just charge it every day regardless of how full the charge is?

In my experience Bluetooth is far more power hungry than Wi-Fi.

Turning off both helps when you are running low on juice
