Bought the Belkin kitchen mount and was not impressed with the stability of my iPad in it. I just don't like how loose it felt when I went to use it. It would wobble side to side very easily.

Does anybody currently have a mount solution they use in their kitchen, like under the cabinet?

Are you talking about the cabinet mount? I have a first gen iPad in the kitchen on that very mount. It is not unstable when in use. Granted, if I were to wobble it myself it will, but it is quite stable and when using the iPad it doesn't wobble one bit.

I prefer to keep my iPad out of the kitchen. Kitchens are full of steam and grease. Not a good place for delicate electronics.

The sun is real hard on them too. I hope you don't ever take yours outside.

Seriously though, my girlfriend uses hers in the kitchen all the time. I'm just waiting to find out it has water damage. But I see no issue with using it in the kitchen if you properly protect and place it. I just wish my gf would find a better place to put it than on the countertop next to the sink.

In all reality, yes, I would not mount my ipad next to the boiling water or vegetables I'm steaming but across on the other prep counter there is no concern for damage to the iPad.
