I'm wondering if anyone else uses Google Apps on a daily basis? I've recently started using Google Reader, Google Docs, and Google Notebook regularly. I've always used Google IG for my homepage.

I really like Google's apps and love the fact they are web based so I don't have to worry about backing up or making sure I can use them on different OS'. But, I hope they keep developing Google Docs, because I see great potential in that app.

So what Google Apps do you use regularly, if any at all?

back when I was in HS I used to use Google Docs all the time, but lately no need for them at all.

I use iGoogle for my homepage everywhere, Gmail and Calendar for my e-mail and calendaring. I've now just discovered the brilliance of Google Bookmarks with the GBookmarks Firefox extension for keeping my bookmarks the same where ever I go

I very rarely have the need for an Office type application, but when I do I frequently use Google Docs/Spreadsheets as well.

I use Gmail and Google Reader all the time. I occasionally use Google Notebook and Google Docs, but much less often then Gmail and Reader.

I use their search engine occasionally, that's about it. Personally I don't trust them at all and would never use them for anything involving personal information.

Google Docs is quite good for me because I frequently do work at school that I would otherwise have to email for myself, so it's easier to just paste my work into a new document so I can edit it at home and have the same copy at school without having to email it to myself again. :p

nope... i'm trying to minimize my dependence on google... am i the only one?

why are you doing that?

the way i look at it, i'm trying to get my free use out of them, as much as possible. so i'm taking up space on their servers, and less space on mine.

and using up their bandwidth, and not mine (well, i still gotta use mine some)

anyways, i forgot to say that i use gmail as my main email now

Never...really I've spent a little time on Google Docs, Spreadsheets and Presentations and saw nothing to bring me away from iWork (I'm not one to move around a lot without my laptop when I need my docs). Google Earth is a cool novelty but nothing I'd really use often...

I'm guessing you haven't read those articles about how much google actually knows about you..

They are selling your (and my) information and using it to market products to us. GApps is not free ;)

My band uses Google docs and calendar... its a great way for us to centrally view and edit tons of things from finances to dates we're available...

i'm not really worried. i'm not hiding anything. as long as they don't have my credit card info.....

you are probably right there, but it doesn't really bother me all the much. not enough to buy these services elsewhere
