Does anybody use the any of the software below? I got very close to workable capacity on my drive (which is now sorted) and some people mentioned the software below as an aid.

I was looking at getting OmniDiskSweeper,

OmniDiskSweeper, JDisk Report, Disk Inventory X or GrandPerspective and other similar apps may show differing levels of detail, so try several. Many are free, so there's no need to spend money.

Since they are free and do no harm, there is no real reason, not to use it, when you need to find out, where your HDD capacity is used on.

To find out, where you hard drive capacity is being used, you can use the following free applications:

• DiskInventory X
• OmniDiskSweeper
• JDisk Report
• GrandPerspective

Maybe try a combination of several, if you still can't find the "missing" capacity.
