Have you ever used teeth whitening products, such as white strips?

I used Aquafresh trays before for 7 days and they did an ok job. Shortly after my teeth looked discolored. (I'm not a smoker or a coffee or tea drinker)

I'm giving Crest Whitestrips Classic a try at the moment. I find them messy. The gel is always seeping out and it tastes wicked bad. I'm always afraid to swallow it.

But anyways, away from me... What had your experience been with whitening products? What worked the best and lasted the longest?

:D

Teeth Whitening gum that my brother gave me cuz he doesn't like the flavor? Not that I have bad teeth..I just like the taste :D lol. And I guess I do have semi-bad teeth.

Someone should invent ..

Non saliva-soluble white teeth paint. Put it on every 30 days at white teeth clinics and it is slowly worn off and digested.

Reoccurring revenue stream

...free product idea for you all.

I have my teeth bleached at the dentist every 7-9 months.

I have trays to use at home, as well as Crest whitestrips - the Supreme ones.

I'm also getting a tooth veneer in January on my only crooked tooth, and 2 more 'rounded' to make them less fang-ish.

I love a nice smile!

I sure do...Crest Whitestrips Supreme, every 6 months or so. :D

Geez! I bet your teeth illuminate the room. :)

I used the Walgreens version of Colgate Simply White. You just paint it on your teeth at night. I had great results with that product.

I've also used Crest Whitestrips. They worked alright but cause my teeth to become WAY too sensitive so I stopped.

Let us know how it is when you've eaten away all your enamel. ;)

I use crest white strips (the generic kind from walmart or target) maybe once a year if I feel like it.

Can't wait for the FDA warning in a couple years stating something like makes you sterile or hair/teeth rot and fall out, or the more common one these days about the mad rush on advertised prescription drugs 10 years later -- makes your heart explode.

I gargle with hydrogen peroxide.

I did that for a while but didn't notice a difference...

I'd say no, i don't use any products with the intention of specifically whitening my teeth....although, technically tooth paste could be considered teeth whitening. If it is, then yes i do.

I used to but then I got sick from the chemicals and threw up every time. So... no, i no longer use teeth whitening products.

I just use some Sensodyne (sp?) toothpaste that says it helps makes teeth whiter. And so it should for what it costs! I suppose it helps a little bit but I've got good teeth anyways.

I use a whitening kit at least once a year. My favorite would have to be Crest Whitestrips Premium, but I've also used the Classic version, Oral-B whitening strips, a Rembrandt whitening kit, and Colgate Simply White. Of all, the ones from Crest work the best, and I find the Premium's to cause less sensitivity than the Classics. The Oral-B whitening strips didn't seem to work as good but maybe that's because it hadn't been very long since I used Whitestrips. The Colgate Simply White worked about as well, and the Rembrandt kit did nothing. I have found that reducing the number of times you brush to once a day while using such whitening kits will greatly reduce gum sensitivity.

I use the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste and the Crest Pro-Health mouthwash.

I used the Crest Whitening strips one time, but it was a pain to leave on for 30 minutes. It also made my teeth really sensitive for the rest of the day, it kind of made me scared.
