as you have just got it, you should call apple support..
besided that, you can probably try resetting the power manager
while the computer is switched off, Press and release shift-control-option-power simultaneously , wait for 5 second...press the power button

well it was just that..no other problem.. ..power manager is the intergrated circuit on the logic board, and controls I/O, sleep-wake, hard disk spin blah blah...when it gets messed up u have problems in all those aspects...so..yah..thats about all i know
