Since I have installed Mavericks, I am unable to minimize more than one file to the Dock or have them opened on the desktop. Prior to this I was able to have several files temporarily in the Dock and on the screen so I could switch from one to the other. I seem to have lost this capability and would like some guidance on restoring that feature.
