Dock disappears after switching from Dual Monitors

When I unplug my monitor (after dual monitor use), my dock disappears and only appears after I highlight the area of the dock. Any ideas? Thanks.

It turns out it was a bad .plist file. Removed it and all is well. No more disappearing dock. Yaaaa!!!!
