Hi,

My dock is sometimes missing when I reboot, and I don't know what could have caused it. The last days I have made some significant changes, and I hope someone can shed some light on my problem;

I upgraded to Mountain Lion, and it is running well. It was a format/reinstall/migrate job.

I also had to replace the videocard, and I changed to a Radeon HD5870. It works just fine, and is significantly faster in games in Win7.

Finally I added a second monitor, finally having both Display Port and DVI on the HD5870.

What of these things could have affected the dock?

I had the same problem, and solved it by removing some prefs in my User Library. Stuff like dock.plist, finder.plist etc. Reboot and reset PRam, and so far I've been fine.
