Is there a way to put a folder onto the dock in Tiger? I have leopard myself but my mom is on the phone and wants to know how... Is there some program to do it with??

You just create it, and drop it in the dock by the trash can.

You should just be able to drag and drop the folder onto the dock. It will have a list of the files and subfolders when you click on it.
