Caldigit TS3+. Works fine. So far. I haven’t really done anything other than hook up a display and use the usb-c port.

I'm currently using a Thinkpad USB-C dock with no issues, except that it only supports one external monitor for an extended display/desktop. I'm using the onboard HDMI port for a second external display. The Thinkpad dock is also providing power+charging.

I have tried the new Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 Dock. Can only use two external monitors (Dell 1440p) with one connected to DP/HDMI and the second one through USB-C to HDMI adapter and setting the refresh rate to 60Hz. I don't know if I am gonna keep it since it does not work on say two DP ports (it mirrors both external screens then). However I guess since I have to use a ThinkPad as well this might be the best allrounder as of now.

I use mine in 2 locations - at one I have an LG 4K monitor which I connect to via USB-C: It charges the MBP fine and also has USB ports on the back.

At the other location, I use a pluggable USB-C dock which I've had a while. It also works fine and charges the MBP while allowing me to connect to 2 monitors (even though the MBP supports multiple external monitors, the dock uses DisplayLink for one of them)

Both of these basically allow a single cable connection for charging, display and USB extension ports

I also tried a CalDigit dock that I've had for years, but that didn't work so well with the display constantly cutting out.
