Dock Freezing.

Hey, Just wandering if you can help me?

My dock is fine, Opening programs and apps but its when i CTRL + Click or Right Click it shows the drop menu (Force Quit etc..) and freezes.

To regain control and make my dock moveable and clickable again i have to click the top left apple logo drop down menu.
That seems to unfreeze it.


REF: I recently installed Safari Beta 4.

Did this happen before you installed Safari 4? I would try repairing your permissions by opening up Disk Utility, selecting your HD on the left, hit "repair permissions," then restart. Hopefully it will fix it.

Nope.


This never happened before, (Even with me laggy Mac).
OK, I will do this.

What exactly does Repair Disk Permissions and Verify Disk Permissions do?
