Dock in Mavericks shows weird icon's shadow

Hi all,

I've been using Mavericks and a couple days ago I realized that the icons in the dock show weird shadow behind them. I tried reinstalling the OS but it doesn't work. Are there anyone know how to fix this problem, please ? Thanks a lot.

Does that only happen with that application? Does it happen if you kill the Dock?

Yeah, I did. I use this command to kill the dock but it doesn't work

killall -KILL Dock

The shadow appears randomly among the apps like Safari, Mail, Chrome, Calendar,....

Do you still have the SAME shadows behind the same icons, or is that just part of your background showing through the Dock?

Easy to tell by changing the size of your Dock. If the shadows stay with the icons, then it's a weird issue in the Dock. If the shadows do NOT move, then they are simply part of the background.
Or, even easier, change to a different background.
