Hi
I would appreciate any help. I have a Elgato Thunderbolt 3 pro dock that I successfully used with my 13 inch 2018 MBP.
In short external hard rives (Thunderbolt) connect to the dock, the dock connects to the MBP and then when you eject the dock through the utility it safely ejects all the hard drives. This works right now with the 2018 MBP. My 2020 MBP is connected the same way, it charges from the dock, the hard rives show up on the desktop, again connected through the dock. But when I eject as per above I get the message saying it is safe to unplug the dock but the hard rives aren't disconnected.
I did a migration from the 2018 to 2020 MBP so first assumption was an issue with the utility so I deleted it and reinstalled. But same issue.
can anyone help at all. Obviously I have contacted Elgato but their current response time is 7 days.
thanks
Josh
