can i reset this?

Yes. Find the com.apple.dock.plist file
found in Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences
Mine is locked, so I'd have to do Get Info and unlock it
Move it to your Desktop
Restart
That will create a new plist file

Is it back to normal? If so, you can Trash the file you placed on the Desktop.
If not, there are other things to try.

So I tried the above, and it reset my dock but still having the same issue with the finder and trash plus now I can add any items to my dock as I can't right click on any of the icons. Please Help!

Try a different plist file:
Find the com.apple.finder.plist file
found in Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences
Move it to your Desktop
Restart
That will create a new plist file

If not, there are other things to try.
