Dock only showing on 1 monitor

I am on MacOS 15.4.1 and I can't find a way of having the Dock show on an external monitor. Is this a limitation of MacOS?

Dock only appear on one display. Move mouse pointer to bottom of display and Dock will show on that display until you do same on another.

Has this always been in the case with prior MacOS versions? I recall the Dock being available on all screens. Granted, it's been a while since I used my Mac with external monitors as I've been exclusively using Windows for work for the last 2.5 years.
