Dock playing up?

Right, I have a problem regarding my dock and probably the menu bar. The only fix I found is a full reboot. But I'm not gonna do that always and just bare with it. Anyway, when I have magnification on, it like lags. I put my mouse over and its slow. Nothing is even open like major clog up. When I click the Apple logo in the menu bar, i cant use my mouse to choose the options. I got to use the keyboard and the arrow keys.

Does anyone know a fix, is it a common problem? I'm running Leopard on a Mac Mini. I tried killall dock in terminal, doesn't seem to fix it.

No one else has had this problem before? I may reinstall OSX to be honest.

If a reinstall doesn't fix it, the cause is almost certainly the lack of GPU power in the Mac Mini. If not that, then perhaps one of the applications you installed post-reinstallation.
