I was playing about with my settings just now, and I noticed that the Dock size slider was disabled. I tried clicking on it, and my dock got smaller. I tried again, and it kept getting smaller and smaller, even when I clicked on the large end!
I've tried restarting repairing permission, but the control is still disabled, and my Dock is still ridiculously small! What can I do?

Did you, um, go into Dock Settings in System Prefs?

Yes. That's where the size slider is, but for some reason mine is disabled and I can't change it.
All clicking on it did was move it slightly towards the small end, now it's right down at Small, and I can't drag it back up!

Yip.

Have you pulled your com.apple.dock.db and com.apple.dock.plist files from ~/Library/Preferences, and then restarted?

Are your Dock preferences disabled because they're locked? Look in the lower right hand corner of the preferences pane.

Yay! That sorted it!
I didn't even have to restart, just re-launched finder, the dock (via activity monitor) and system preferences, and it's all working perfectly! Got the size slider working again as well.

Thanks :)
