Dock takes up a tad more space

Anyone notice the dock taking up a tad more space? In Catalina the dock was snapped to the bottom but in Big Sur, there is a thin hairline of space between the bottom of the screen and the dock. If you use a light background, you will see. It isn't a huge deal but it gives a tad less vertical space for Safari. And I know you can make the dock smaller but then the icons get smaller too.
