Dock to replace Pure-Fi Elite

Hi,

Looking to buy a xmas present for my gf to replace her Pure-Fi Elite that has broken. I want a good sounding system, but not a bose or something else that is £200+, can someone recommend a good set, I am tempted to wait for the iHome system that supports airplay, but obviously don't know what it will sound like.
