Dock

my dock was acting funny today. it was getting stuck and it would stop magnifying. i then restarted it and everything was fine after that until i checked the options. now when i say turn magification off then it magnifies and vice versa. when i say to turn hiding off, it hides and vice versa. is something wrong?

Try dragging com.apple.dock.plist to your Desktop. It's in <your user name>/Library/Preferences. Then log out and back in...see if that helps. If it behaves itself, you can go ahead and delete the one on your Desktop.

(Note that you will have to reset your Dock preferences after you do this...resize it as you desire, re-add the apps you want to reside in the Dock, etc. So make a note of how you have things set up before you do this.)
