If you are a frequent user of Screen Lock and you dock your screen locked iPod into a set of speakers... depending on the Speakers you use the Screen Lock will get stuck after 20-30 minutes...
What happens is thet the Enter/Select button of the wheel becomes inoperable... so you cannot 'enter' the code to unlock yout iPod! You still will be able to Pause/Play your selected music... scroll the combination numbers and move the combination selection left and right... just not Enter/Select Button to unlock the iPod
You will have to Connect the iPod you the Original Syncing computer and iTunes will unlock the screen for you.
Afected Docking Spreakers are those that talk to the iPod... eg alarm wakes iPod to play music
JBL On Time (Confirmed with iPod Video 30G (5gen), Nano 2G (2gen))
iHome iH5 (Confirmed with iPod Video 30G (5gen), Nano 2G (2gen))
Not affteced:
SpeckTone (Confirmed with iPod Video 30G (5gen), Nano 2G (2gen))
JBL OnStage (Confirmed with iPod Video 30G (5gen), Nano 2G (2gen))
The Apple iPod Hi-Fi should be unaffected as it does talk to the iPod.
This seems to be a bug with the iPod, or in the SDK for the dock interface that manufacturers use.
Any other confirmations/comments?
