Hey there,

Does anyone know of a good docking station for use with my macbook pro classic? My problem is when I plug everything in I have no more ports to plug in my iphone for development or my USB flash drive.

I saw some but I don't know if they work with my macbook pro classic. They only mention the retina one.

Any ideas is appreciated.

Thanks!

You could get a Thunderbolt dock, a Henge dock and a USB hub, or a USB 3 dock like one from Targus. I cannot comment on the reliability, but those are the options.

I got a CalDigit thunderbolt dock. I use my MBP in clamshell mode at home and it allows me just a power and TB connection to connect or disconnect. quick and easy.

It also provides a USB 3 port which my older MBP lacks.
