Hi,

I am a new mac user, I bought my Macbook Pro last year and here are the details:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB

I have searched extensively online and have found www.bookendz.com to be an apple accessory reseller. However, they are over priced and the docking stations looks very big space consuming. Is there anything simple what I essentially need is additional screens to work from and use of external keyboard and mouse. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you're right...disregard the original url :)

You'll only really be able to hook up one more screen to it, as your computer only supports one external display. You could add another via a USB adapter, but performance on those screens is average at best. You don't really even need a dock for that, you can simply get a miniDisplayPort to DVI (or whatever your monitor uses) adapter, a cable, and a keyboard and mouse. That's my setup at school and it works quite nicely.
