Docking station unsupported after ios 6.1.3 install?

Hi, I have a hitachi AXM239 hi-fi system and an iPhone 4S. Around the time I updated to 6.1.3, every time dock the phone, I get the message in the picture. It still charges and I can play music, although I cannot use the remote to control what is playing so it is rather annoying. If anyone has had similar problems and knows of a way to fix it let me know. Thanks in advance.
