My desktop (PC) died and I'm going to use may MacBook Pro (15) as a replacement. It will be on the desk about 90% of the time. Does anyone actually have one of the following docking stations? If so, thoughts, pros /cons.

Henge Dock

Byte-dock

BookEndz

Deskbook Pro (Still in business?)

I guess the bottom line is would you buy again

Thanks

I have a henge dock for my 13" MBP, overall I like it a lot.

The only annoying factor is that the connectors (Power, USB, Headphones etc) are attached to the dock via little grub screws (allen key), so if you need to take your power cable with you you need to find the allen key, undo and then NOT lose the little adapter that fits round the magsafe connector that clips into the dock

After 3 times undoing and redoing I got fed up and bought a spare power adapter so I didnt have to keep undoing it

Was it a pain to take it out to turn on / off or did you leave it on most of the time?

Did you have and heat issues?

I've been eyeing the bookendz for my future Macbook purchase since it allows the laptop to be used while "docked". Kind of a nice feature for dual screens, although it's a fair bit more costly.
