I feel like my ipod touch can hold just about everything my macbook can, with the exception of apps such as word, iphoto, imovie, etc....and documents.

i'd love to get documents on my ipod touch...

specifically documents i write for school, such as essays or reports so i can read them on the go and better yet, have the ability to edit them on the go...i would cream myself if i could create a document on my ipod touch and pretty much write an essay and then email it to myself or something. imagine that?

BUT!!!!!

The reason i'll be doing any kind of reading on my touch is for my long PDF books or ebooks....whats the best way to get these on my touch? So far i've just had them uploaded on my Google Docs, which works okay for my 10 page school essays but impossible to load for my 160 page pdf's.

a air sharing the only good app?

I have it but have not used it yet. I'm not sure exactly what it does but would to be able to take the apps with me.

I know I'm asking a lot with being able to edit but I can dream right?

Haven't heard of any apps to edit docs.

Air Sharing can store and view files. There's sample files there when you install it.

Try Stanza for e-books.

im about to download stanza, so with this type of app i can get my docs or pdf ebooks onto my touch?

im def. gonna check out air sharing now.
