I created a document in Pages which is heavy on pictures and graphics and when I email it to folks with a PC system, it comes up in Fax Viewer for them and is not clear. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance! Niki

By default, Pages docs are not compatible in Word. Are you using "Save As" to create a copy as a MS Word .doc?

I never had any luck using pictures in Word docs in 2004 or below. '07 for Windows/'08 for Mac seem to handle them much better.

Thanks for the help! I ended up going to export and choosing PDF and it comes up much more clearly.

Nice, was going to suggest that but didn't know if you still wanted the docs to be editable. Also, from any application in Mac OS X, you can select Print, and there is a PDF button on the bottom left that will allow you to easily save whatever document as a PDF (assuming it doesn't have a built PDF support for exporting, like iWork does).
