Documents To Go - typing lags on iphone 4

I have an iPad and an iPhone 4 - both with documents to go installed. On my iPad, documents to go runs perfectly and I love it. However, I also installed DTG on my iphone but the the typing lags. I still have half the space left on my iphone (which is a 32GB) so I know it's not because it's running out of space. I decided to get rid of a bunch of documents just in case but typing still lags.

Does anyone know why? Is there anything I can do about it?
