Hi, what are the chances of having a bad Airport Card?

I've had terrible airport problems to the point where i've just done a total erase and install. Completely virgin Mac Pro here, running 10.5.1 and guess what, 10 seconds of surfing and i get drop outs.

So i'm now thinking (after trying EVERYTHING and replacing the router) that i might have a dodgy airport card. Is this likely?

How can i prove it?

Is it covered under warranty?

Is it possible to fit a new one myself?

Any advice appreciated

I suppose the final ultimate test would be to downgrade to tiger and see if the problems persist there?

sound like a plan?

The minimum system OS you can use is the one the machine came with-I'm not sure you can downgrade to 10.5 if you bought one of the new Mac Pros.
