I was considering upgrading and I wanted to hear your opinion.

I bet other people are curious about it working or not too.

Updating is always advisable, but depending on how you use your machine 10.4.10 may have a few annoyances.

The biggest one, for me, is a popping sound from external speakers.

10.4.10 problems

I updated to 10.4.10 and then it wouldn't start up at all. The Apple screen comes up and then the spinning gear, then the screen turns blue and I get the " You need to restart your computer" warning. I ran repair disk permissions and verify disk and it had multiple unrepairable problems. I was able to backup by starting up from an external HD and then reformatted. I reinstalled the original OSX 10.2 that came with the computer and now I'm trying to upgrade from my 10.4 disc and it keeps saying "There were errors installing the software"

This may not have anything to do with 10.4.10 but I wish I had left well enough alone!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

What kidn of mac do you have? Is it Intel or PPC?

It works, but i do have the "snap crackle and pop" bug that really annoys me. I had to install it for the iPhone though, and it works.
