Hi,

I would need to be able to run OpenCL code on GPU and I have 13-inch rMBP with Intel HD4000. That hardware is OpenCL 1.1. compliant, but OSX drivers does not currently support it.

I have been reading results, that OpenCL code can be ran with HD4000 on Windows 7/ 8.

Has anyone 1st hand experience using 13-inch rMBP + Bootcamp and running any OpenCL with GPU acceleration?

Thanks, Mikael Lepistö

EDIT: If anyone has already Windows 7 running on his/her 13-inch rMBP, he can check OpenCL support by running e.g. this benchmark http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/LuxMark

Probably one need DirectX 10 or 11 and latest HD4000 driver installed.

No need to install special drivers.

I tested this.

OpenCL works fine with Intel HD4000 on Win 7 Home Premiun. There was no need to install any special drivers. Those which came with bootcamp had support.
