This high-pitched sound coming out of the speakers after a sound effect (i.e. SMS tone) is played is starting to bother me. How can I take a relaxing steamy dump with dog whistles going off in my ear?

To you develelopers: Does 3.1 address this issue?

Yes. The high pitched frequency is no longer there anymore. :)

Am I just lucky? My iPhone 3GS doesn't play this sound and I'm on 3.0 jailbroken.

Yes but the first sound out of the speaker (eg. SMS tone) still sounds corrupted. Subsequent tones sound perfect until it goes into standby and then same thing once more.

Damn, so its not yet fixed? I find it so annoying.

On a plus side, it's easy to distinguish who's iPhone rang between my Fiance and I. Mine sounds distorted, and her's sounds fine, lol.

Really? Nice! :) Now the only issue will be the slightly warmer screen. Compared to everyone elses horror stories, I dont think mine is *that* bad, but its still warmer than my 3G
