If I had a 3g iphone and activated it all legit and put an o2 payg 3g sim card into it, would i be able to access 3g data? i know that o2 never used to allow payg access to 3G or EDGE, only GPRS, unless you were on contract.

So has anyone tryed this?

i couldn't get EDGE on my pay and go iphone but i don't think there was any particular restriction, rather it didn't work for reasons they hadn't worked out yet. i think 3G always has worked on pay and go.

So can you activate a 3g Iphone with a PAYG o2 SIM like you can do with the origional iPhone?
