Does 3G on burn battery even when WiFi activated?

Hi,

Just wondered, does the iPhone 6 or any iphone in fact, run down in battery when 3G cellular data is turned on however wifi is also and as a result wifi is being used? Is the same energy used as if wifi is turned off and phone would be just using 3G?

The 3G/Cellular radio isn't used when your Wifi is on for data. It however has to remain on to accept calls.
