Does 3G Unrestrictor slow down 3G?

This is prob a dumb question, but does 3G Unrestrictor slow down 3G speeds?
I bought itlast night, installed it no problems, youtube is clear, but I noticed it takes a LOT longer to load the videos w/ it on. Is it because its loading the "high res" versions?

No it doesnt effect 3G speeds and obviously if youtube is loading the high res version instead of the smaller fuzzy one it will take longer to load.

3G Unrestrictor doesn’t affect 3G speeds. However, since you’re loading a video meant for wifi, it is going to take longer than normal on wifi (makes sense).

Would leaving this toggle on all the time decrease battery life? I would only leave it on to be able to get facetime calls anywhere not using it for videos or anything.

It hasn’t affected my battery life from my experience.

It can't affect battery life. It's a hook in program. When an app asks the OS if it is connected to a 3G or wifi network the program has replaced the OS reply with wifi always. There's nothing running.
