Is there a case that the iPad can be put into that allows the user to see the screen but doesn't allow touch input? A case that allows the user to start a movie and then put it in a case so a kid can watch a movie but can't make any changes... Like stopping the movie or pressing the home button.

I've never heard of any cases that do that. Most materials will transmit the electrical signal from the finger to the capacitive screen, so unless you find something really thick, at which point you probably won't even be able to see the screen anymore, you're out of luck.

A lot cheaper than a case, kid won't make noise either.
