Does a DVR-K06 replace a DVR-K06A?

My iMac needs a new disc drive, which is a DVR-K06A. I found a replacement that is a slim-line notebook internal dvd/cd writer - slot loading 8x. i was wondering if anyone knew if this would be a good replacement, considering size mostly and if it'll fit in my imac and work.
