I’ve never done Facebook live but am wanting to. I hear a good connection is key and for the next week I’ll be on the road traveling from a Montana all the way to El Paso TX.

I’ve seen ppl streaming FB live before with terrible connections and it makes ppl lose engagement. So I’m wondering if there is a way, perhaps an app, that’ll allow me to see the signal strength of any particular location so I can stream knowing I have the best connection. For example, as much as I’d like to stream while at the local airport, I’ve been there enough times in the terminals to recognize that the 4G signal sucks so I won’t be able to do it there.

WiFi isn’t really an option for me since I’ll be traveling so much.

They also have mobile apps version. They gather the data via crowdsourcing. Just to note, make sure you check the speed, not just coverage. Sometimes, an area can have great coverage, but average speed is not so great.
You can use the mobile app to contribute data.
