Does a Mouse3 button exist in OSX?

Just wondering because I cant seem to find a way to set it on my Logitech MX500 (Wheel Button)

I have the Logitech Control Center installed, but only see options for left/right click.

Interesting, with my Mighty Mouse plugged in, I can customise the scroll ball in Keyboard & Mouse preferences. However, with my Microsoft mouse, the options disappear. So yes, OS X supports the third button, but it seems to "hide" the option under some circumstances 😕

The scroll wheel button? LCC fully supports all the buttons on the MX500, and OS X itself supports "middle click", I believe, with all scroll wheel mice.

i got it.

I installed 2.1 and saw a options for up to "mouse8" in Advanced click on the Wheel button.
