If you're subscribed to AA, but go offline for extended periods of time, will AA stop working because it needs to "phone home" periodically? If so, for how long? Asking for someone who's going on a cruise (and even though I won't be doing this anytime soon, I'm curious myself). The plane ride should be just fine since that's only about 5 to 7 hours, but the cruise will be 11 days. I don't know the details of her itinerary, but for the large cruise lines I've been on (e.g. Royal Caribbean), even though internet for the day is affordable, it's still something *I* would rather not have to shell out money for.

I don't use Apple Arcade myself but am confident in saying that it will be fine for any period of time without a constant internet connection and nobody should feel compelled to pay for internet service just to keep it communicating while on a cruise. Enjoy the cruise and relax from these digital distractions!
